Description

The coulomb meter high precision allows the monitoring of the voltage (V), the capacity (Ah), the power (W) and the energy of a battery. This information allows the user to get a State of charge in % (SoC) or depth of discharge (DoD) of the battery. It calculates in real-time the remaining time until the battery is completely empty.
This meter has a memory function that records the SoC information when the device is turned off or disconnected accidentally.

Suitable for the lithium-iron-phosphate batteries(LiFePO4), lithium-ion-polymer, battery lead-acid and nickel-metal hybrid with an operating voltage of 8V to 100V DC.

This battery tester is suitable for mobile and portable equipment, electric vehicle, E-bike, battery cars, balance cars, cleaning machine, ups and so on.

Although the current is measured by a precision resistance, low errors of measures involved related to the frequency of sampling of the measure. To correct this marginal error, the Coulomb counter is automatically re-calibrated to each charge cycle. By coulomb counting, SoC measurements allow a less than 1% measurement error, which allows a very accurate indication of the remaining energy in the battery.
Unlike the method GCO, coulomb counting is independent of fluctuations in power delivered by the battery (that cause the battery voltage drops), and the accuracy remains constant regardless of the use of the battery.

Connect:

 

      1. Prepare a shielded wire and an ordinary wire (0.3-0.75 mm²);

      2. One end of the ordinary wire connects to B+ of the battery;

      3. Another end connects to B+ of sampler (anyone is ok);

      4. The B- of sampler connects to B- of the battery;

      5. P- of sampler connect to P- of output;

      6. Finally connect the sampler to battery tester by the shielded wire.

 Attention: Please connect as shown strictly. The sampler must be connected to the negative circuit, DO NOT connect to the positive circuit. If you want to extend the shielded wire you must use 4 lines of the same specification.
